New Reels updates on Instagram
Instagram announced a few new updates to the already popular feature Reels to allow longer-form videos and improved editing capabilities.
When Reels first launched a mere two months ago, users could only create videos for up to 15 seconds, but you can now create videos up to 30 seconds. Instagram has also extended the self-timer functionality to 10 seconds and improved editing functionality like trimming and deleting options to make editing your clips easier. It’s refreshing to see Instagram listening to user feedback and making changes to Reels just two months after launching.
